The Woodville Pioneer Museum Society is fundraising to build an education centre where primary schools in the district can be introduced to their history.
The Centre will be purpose-built and available for classes to use by arrangements.
The Centre will also contain a research room and research materials including photographs , documents and maps relating to early Woodville. Many of the names of old Woodville residents are on the museum’s computer together with relevant information and photographs.
We welcome visits from school groups and can tailor visits to focus on particular themes that are relevant to the school curriculum.
